Established in 1995, The Woodlands is a private gated, family-oriented 373 home subdivision located in beautiful Mandeville, Louisiana on the north shore across lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans in St. Tammany parish. Our Location
Our main gated entrance is off of Highway 1088 across from Magnolia Trace Elementary School and the rear gate entrance is off of Soult Street near Mandeville Middle School.

The Woodlands has a new standard metal mailbox!

Approved Metal MailboxGet a head start on your spring cleaning and improve our curb appeal with the new design! Thanks to all participating residents and your volunteer board members, the new mailboxes are ready to go! Several homeowners have already purchased theirs, so keep an eye out for the new look!

How do we get one?
Call Jeff Bradley at 985 710-3757 to schedule installation and payment information. (If you have any difficulty, contact GNO Property Management at 504-528-7028)

What is the cost?
$ 271 includes new mailbox with post sunken into a concrete base, plus removal and disposal of your old mailbox. To keep the price down, they are ordered in bulk and are usually on hand for installation. Payments to be handled by Mr. Bradley.

How does the Association help?
  • Provides the contact number to get your new mailbox
  • Enforces regulation and maintenance rules for mailbox upkeep.

The full neighborhood transition to the new boxes will be gradual.

In response to residents’ request for TWACC to enforce mailbox regulations, letters will be going out first to homeowners whose mailboxes are in disrepair.

They will be asked to remedy the situation with the information necessary to do so. As is standard policy with TWACC regulations, non-compliant residents will have their mailboxes replaced by the Association at the owners expense within a reasonable time frame. Please note that disregarding the notice for a period of time may lead to violation fines, so please do your best to contact GNO to work out a solution. You do not need to wait to receive a letter if you want to get yours now, simply phone Mr. Bradley for installation.

Due to the large volume of response (the overwhelming majority of residents voting in support of new and uniform mailboxes this past year) we are answering your call to shape up the neighborhood. We hope that everyone is excited to get a spruced up look for less than the original cost with a design that meets halfway between the two originally proposed.

All of your ideas, requests and concerns were noted, discussed and the final result is in consideration of everyone’s input…and for less money!
